APCA Awareness Day

Let’s make the Month of Asian Pacific American Heritage even more exciting this year!  You will have opportunities to buy lunch, participate in a Silent Auction and more!  As part of the celebration, we will have our own APCA “Meet & Greet” style table for new members.  In addition, this year’s celebration will also feature our sister Chapters of OASIS and FACES- as we are celebrating Asian American Heritage month, we’re going to be more inclusive than ever before!  As you know, FACES is the Filipino-American Communication ERG and OASIS is the Organization of Asian Indians ERG.

The open house will be hosted from 11am – 1pm in both Dallas (308 S. Akard, 12th Floor Auditorium) and Richardson (1125 E. Campbell, 1st Floor Break Room/Cafeteria).

In Dallas, you’ll have an opportunity to learn about tigers!  If you would like to donate an item to our Silent Auction in Dallas to benefit In Sync Exotics, please contact Dee Watson.  To learn more about In Sync Exotics Big Cat Sanctuary, click here.

In Richardson, you can wear your native clothing and be entered into the Best Dressed Contest.  You also can have your photo taken with Mrs. Laura Maczka, Mayor of Richardson, during her visit to Campbell Glen for APCA Awareness Day Proclamation Presentation! 2014 APCA Proclamation Richardson

If you would like to donate an item to our Silent Auction in Richardson to benefit APCA events, please contact Jessica Yang.  Proceeds from both lunches will go towards our APCA Scholarship fund.
